If I can make a lot of money in real estate then why would I go to college?
I am in Grade 12 and just came across this site.  If people can make Millions with just 3 courses, then why we need to waste 3 years and 50, 000 to complete the college and then be un employed Smiley

Is any one here can give a better answer to my question?

I dont have much loan or credit but my score is still low as 20.  I have only 2 Cards for about 2 Years now.  I pay my bills on time and note late payments.

I am on month-to-month right now. I would like to give my 30 day notice today, expecting to be done with my current apartment 30 days from now. I called the office and they said any notice would not go into affect until the 1st of the next month effectively making me pay all the way to end of February. Is that really how things work or am I being taken for a ride?

I am looking to start a bar in Ajax,  I have a partner who is able to put $35-40K into it but the business itself will cost between $250K-$300k to acquire and will require anywhere from $30K-40K to restore and convert. I would like to know the best place to go for a commercial real estate loan keeping in mind the significant funding we already have. I would like to limit the down payment to about $80-90K to keep the rest available for the bar itself. As a side note my personal credit score isn't fantastic (about 630).

You have to start with a A "secured credit card" i
its secured by funds you have deposited wih the financial institution.  Once you estabilised a good standing with it, you can try the others.

Here is some companies that offer secured credit cards

Capital OneĀ® Secured Card

Establishing business credit is not easy.   First  start by using smaller industrial supply companies such as office supplies or even promo material companies. They always offer a 30-60 day pay on invoices and you can use them as credit references and later move to larger credit accounts such as banks.  Having a good standing business chequing accoung always helps too.
Also, any small communit based credit unions also a good place to start.
If you have a bank account for business ask for an overdraft account on the checking account.   This will be a good start too

I hope this Helps

recently started a biz and would like to start establishing my business credit. What are some good first credit cards to get that will help me establish my business credit? Most I've seen want my personal credit as a co-signer for my business, but I would prefer to stay away from that. I mean, what was the point of forming an LLC if my personal credit was going to be taken into account for everything, right?
